John Conrad is the Founder and Principal of Apollo HR Consulting, providing executive-level HR leadership to organizations navigating growth, compliance complexity, and high-stakes workforce decisions.

With more than 30 years of experience across manufacturing, security services, healthcare, retail, government, athletics, and both union and non-union environments, John brings deep operational and workforce expertise to every engagement. His background includes collective bargaining, workplace investigations, wage and hour compliance, unemployment claims management, and collaboration with legal counsel on NLRB and Department of Labor matters.

A 20-year United States Navy veteran, John is known for his disciplined leadership, steady judgment under pressure, and ability to align people strategy with operational performance. He founded Apollo HR Consulting to deliver experienced, proactive HR leadership that protects enterprise value, strengthens culture, and drives sustainable business success.
